Subject:                                         9-11-26 THOUGHTS

 

We each desire LIFE, LOVE AND TO SEE GOOD DAYS.  God’s Spirit gives us some fundamental characteristics to allow this to happen.  God is for us!  Ps 56:9.   Our “PROVING TO BE ZEALOUS FOR WHAT IS GOOD”...  IS KEY!  A diligent life lived for RIGHT,  is the demand!

1Pet 3:10-13      For, "THE ONE WHO DESIRES LIFE, TO LOVE AND SEE GOOD DAYS,  MUST KEEP HIS TONGUE FROM EVIL AND HIS LIPS FROM SPEAKING DECEIT. 11  "HE MUST TURN AWAY FROM EVIL AND DO GOOD; HE MUST SEEK PEACE AND PURSUE IT.  12  "FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE TOWARD THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER, BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO DO EVIL." 13  Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?

Our Prayer:
We know, O God, that You are for us.  Your face is toward the righteous.  May we always be diligent and zealous in our seeking after You through Jesus the Christ.  May we draw near to You, knowing that You have promised to draw near to us.  How marvelous are Your promises, O Father God.   We love You in our Lord.  We pray in His wonderful name...  Amen.
